Meet Keshia

Keshia is the driving force behind The WorkRoom Consulting Group, where she channels over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit, education, and business sectors into her unwavering belief in the power of change and equity. She knows firsthand what it takes to build thriving organizations, and she's passionate about creating sustainable teams through dynamic organizational development and deep collaboration.
As a dedicated St. Louis native, Keshia has made a significant impact on her community. In her role as Manager for the Center for Human Service Leadership at the Delmar Divine—a partnership between Delmar DivINe and Washington University in St. Louis, supported by Missouri Foundation for Health—she led initiatives that strengthened nearly 35 nonprofit organizations. She also managed over $6 million in early childhood investments at Saint Louis MHB, always with a focus on equitable outcomes and meaningful change.
Keshia’s journey from marketing and public relations to elementary education underscores her commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering equity. By building community partnerships, she worked tirelessly to eliminate obstacles to academic success for students. Her dedication to equity and change continues through her service on boards of child-focused organizations, and as an adjunct professor of Human Services and Social Work. Keshia earned her Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University, specializing in communities and organizations, further solidifying her role as a leader in advancing equity and driving transformative change.
